Navy Officer.
Commander in the Portuguese Navy and a specialist in fisheries enforcement.
Being an enthusiastic spearfisherman António Mourinha already practiced this sport in all Portuguese Coast, including all the Azorean Islands and Madeira Archipelago Islands. He also spearfished in some African countries like Senegal, Cape Verde, Ghana, Cameroun, Gabon and Mozambique.
Member of the Portuguese Navy Officer’s Nautical Club, he was one of the creators and the first head of the Spearfishing Section of this centennial nautical club.
He is Member of the Consulting Board of the Portuguese Spearfishing and Apnea Association.
He is also an Elector Member of the Portuguese Federation of Underwater Activities, and International Judge for Spearfishing competitions by CMAS (Underwater Activities World Confederation).
